Now on to this week's interview...

Q1) Welcome to my blog, Stella. Tell us a little about yourself

I was born in a lovely bustling place in South West Nigeria called, Benin City but I live in London. I’m second in a family of six. I have a B.Sc in Microbiology and an MBA.

I started reading romance novels as a teenager. My writing of romance novels that are a fine blend of intense sensual romance, intrigue and conflict started in 2008. My characters are larger-than-life, feisty and have a heart and soul. The storylines are detailed with heart-stopping romantic twists that come alive.

In 2010, I created Flirty & Feisty Romance Novels. The collection of contemporary romance novels includes, LOITERING SHADOWS, STORMY DEFENSE, BEYOND the LADY, the National Novel Writing Month 2010 winning novel, THE GARDENER’s ICE MAIDEN, SPARKLING DAWN and the New release, HUSBAND to RENT.

When am not writing, I take care of my handsome, life-size hero of a husband and two vibrant & loving ‘near teenagers’. I love to read romance novels, swim and watch TV, including Nollywood and am a huge fan of Strictly Come Dancing.

He didn’t say anything until he reached her. Heart still pounding, she watched him walk around her slowly, his chest brushing her shoulders—skin on skin. Warm tingles swarmed her body again. Head raised, he sniffed the air around her and she heard something that sounded like a grunt. Curious, she turned to face him. Expectation made her body quiver, her nerve endings on alert waiting for his touch as she held her breath. She wasn’t sure how much longer she could stand upright.

I’ve been writing professionally since I was 19. I’m 35 now. My primary genres are mystery and suspense with interracial subplots, but I also write women’s fiction and any genre I’m interested in at the time.

#FallIntoRomance: IMMORTAL SEDUCTION by Jennifer Lynne @JenniLynnAuthor

Welcome to the Fall Into Romance Hop hosted by The Romance Reviews. It runs between September 13 to 21.

In this hop we're showcasing books we love. I have chosen a book I've recently finished reading, IMMORTAL SEDUCTION  by Jennifer Lynne.

Why do I love this book?

Jennifer has written a well rounded erotic ménage romance novella. This story has a damaged fire-fighter hero, well, 3 damaged fire-fighter heroes actually.

But it is Ashur's torture and pain that pulls you in from the first few pages of the story and it is him that our heroine, Aphrodite, and the other two, Hugh and Kier have to seduce before they can all heal from the trauma they experienced and have a happy ending.

What surprised and warmed my heart the most, outside of the intensely emotional story, was that Aphrodite herself was also in emotional pain. It made it easy for me to connect with her as a character because she truly understood what the men were going through.

Overall, this is an awesome erotic read with a ménage a quartre storyline that actually worked for me.

Better still, this book is currently on SALE at All Romance eBooks for $1.97 (normal price is $2.99) for a limited time only. Go grab your copy. It is also available on Amazon and other ebook retailers for the usual price.

Now over to SJ...
o
The Spark that started the fire.

Lydia and Jake’s story started for me like a spark. The start of a scene is all I had in the beginning, one request from the hero. You’ll know when you read it. It’s in the middle of TAKING CHANCES and everything thing shifts with this one line. I remember the day this scene came to me. I stopped what I was doing and wrote like a mad woman. It’s one of the hottest scenes I’ve ever written and I’m immensely proud of it. In the days and week that followed I discovered who these characters were and what led them to this one scene.

It’s a thread I’m glad I pulled, because what has been unraveled entertains me daily.

Now, over to Micky...

Hi Kiru. Thank you for having me on your blog today. I have to say I loved Scars and am so glad you decided to make it into a longer book…now waiting for Secrets and Outcast…the cover is wow!
Today I have entitled my post:

When The Truth Comes Out

What do you do when you are faced with your past? It might be a past that you want to forget; too many memories of partying all night long, casual sex or lies that don't fit in with the carefully cultivated lifestyle you have now. We try to think of the past as a long forgotten place, where we reminisce about fun times with friends, the rush of first love or holidays in hot, sunny places.

All of us have at some point done something we prefer not to recall. *coughs*. But what happens when the not so nice parts of your past come back in an unexpected way or unexpected moment? How do you react?

John Thurston has to own up to his past, when it stares him right in the face.
Now I have to say he is a minor character in my new book Mated Forever, but he has an important part in the story right at the end. He is a strong Alpha who has always tried to be fair and just. He never thought to link all the pieces of the puzzle, not until Jorie is kidnapped and he has to step in.

So how does he react? No SPOILERS here. I will say I am thinking of penning his story sometime…
I'll leave you with the blurb and a quick taste!
